Have you ever gone on a vacation with God? When I was first told that, I thought,
"Yea! Right!" To my amazement, that is very close to how I would describe the weekend.
It was really a time of spiritual rejuvenation. I was able to get a new focus on my life
and my priorities, as well as revitalize my desire to be all I can be for God.
If you have
come to one of those times in your life that you feel discouraged or that the pace of life is
starting to wear you down, I encourage you to pray about becoming a member of the Walk to Emmaus
retreats that are held twice a year.
These retreats are held in the fall and the Spring.
A retreat for men only is held one weekend and two weeks later there is a retreat for women
only. In addition, if you would like any other information about the retreat, or would
like either Ken or myself to sponsor you on a retreat, please do not hesitate to ask.
It would be one of the very best decisions you could ever make.
Do something for yourself and for your relationship with God! There is a saying I like that states:
"If you don't feel close to God, guess who moved away?"
